The New England Cannabis Convention serves as a premier annual event dedicated to the cannabis industry, hosted at the John B. Hynes Veterans Memorial Convention Center in Boston, United States. Since its inception in 2014, NECANN has established itself as the largest B2B cannabis industry event in the country, offering a vital platform for businesses, entrepreneurs, cultivators, advocates, patients, investors, educators, and consumers alike, particularly in the Northeast region. The convention's unique focus on the local market allows exhibitors to connect with a highly engaged and diverse audience of cannabis industry professionals. This collaborative approach with local communities and industries has consistently yielded high returns for exhibitors and sponsors, fostering growth in the local cannabis market as well as nationwide. Exhibitors at NECANN have the opportunity to showcase their products and services to a targeted audience while gaining invaluable insights and connections within the industry. The convention features a variety of exhibitors and speakers, providing an enriching experience for all attendees. Past attendees have expressed remarkable satisfaction with the event, noting the continuous growth in attendance and the increasing number of vendors, including multi-state and international companies. Noteworthy feedback from exhibitors highlights the event as a successful platform for meeting new and existing clients, trade partners, and patients. The NECANN events have seen remarkable crowds, with exhibitors eager to return year after year due to the high engagement and interest from attendees. Overall, the New England Cannabis Convention not only showcases the latest in the cannabis industry but also strengthens community ties and promotes the ongoing evolution of cannabis as a legitimate business sector.
The New England Cannabis Network (NECANN) was conceived in 2014 during a discussion lamenting the lack of established resource hubs for the rapidly expanding Cannabis industry in New England. Events where businesses, entrepreneurs, investors, educators, patients, advocates, and consumers could connect, learn, and grow were needed, and we felt a locally owned and operated convention model focused on the New England market (and each state’s medical and recreational status) would be a superior alternative to the generic national canna-convention franchises. Rather than focusing on what the New England Cannabis Industry can do for us, NECANN takes a collaborative approach to our shows that has resulted in consistently high ROI for exhibitors, sponsors, patients, and attendees, facilitating growth for all.
